The Queen City was just ranked among the top places in America to get married.
With couples spending an average of over $33,000 on their wedding and the industry growing to $81 billion in revenue, the personal-finance website WalletHub just released its report on 2019’s Best Places to Get Married.
They compared 182 of the biggest U.S. cities across 27 key indicators of cost-effectiveness, convenience and enjoyment. The data set ranges from average wedding cost to venues and event spaces per capita to weather.
Charlotte ranked in the top 25% at #42, ahead of Raleigh (#47), Honolulu (#50), St. Petersburg, FL (#55), and even Long Beach, CA (#61);
