Another Round Of Powerful Thunderstorms Hitting The Carolinas Today

The Spring storm season is officially here. Yesterday the Carolinas were hit hard with several waves of powerful thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

According to the National Weather Service, the Charlotte region will likely see another round of powerful thunderstorms sweep through our area this afternoon and evening;

Yesterday’s powerful thunderstorms produced some damaging hail and many downed trees and power outages across our region.

The new cluster of storms are now moving through Georgia and will hit the Carolinas starting late this morning into the afternoon and evening.

According to Weather Underground, the highest percentage of rain in Charlotte will be around 2pm;
