Move Silfab Solar is organizing “Time to Be Heard,” a public community rally on Monday, October 19, 2026, at the York County Government Center in York, South Carolina.

Organizers invite residents to bring neighbors, signs and their voices to a gathering focused on concerns about Silfab Solar’s proposed chemical and gas commissioning at its Fort Mill facility.

According to the organizer’s announcement, the rally follows more than two years of community protests, letters, public meetings and court proceedings. Organizers say commissioning could begin as early as October 19 and are calling on York County officials to stop commissioning, revoke the facility’s certificate of occupancy and uphold zoning requirements.
