Charlotte’s luxury shopping scene is getting another major upgrade as two upscale brands have chosen SouthPark for their first-ever North Carolina locations, further cementing the area’s reputation as one of the Southeast’s premier retail destinations.

Serena & Lily and Faced, The Facial Studio have signed leases at Specialty Shops SouthPark, marking major statewide debuts for both brands.

The additions are part of Hill Partners Inc.’s vision to transform the open-air shopping center into a luxury destination that competes directly with neighboring SouthPark Mall.

Serena & Lily is a nationally recognized luxury home furnishings brand known for its coastal-inspired furniture, décor and California-chic style. The company is highly selective about where it opens stores, typically choosing affluent lifestyle centers and upscale shopping districts.

Faced, The Facial Studio is a fast-growing boutique skincare brand known for customized facial treatments and a membership model that keeps clients returning year-round.

Retail experts often view the arrival of brands like Serena & Lily and Faced as a sign that a shopping district has reached premier luxury status. Their openings frequently attract additional high-end retailers and restaurants.

Both are also considered destination brands. Serena & Lily draws shoppers from across the region looking to experience its furniture in person, while Faced’s loyal membership base creates consistent foot traffic that benefits neighboring businesses.

The new additions are expected to further elevate SouthPark’s standing as one of the Southeast’s top luxury shopping destinations.
