According to a new report from KURU, Charlotte ranks among the top 10 most dangerous U.S. cities for pedestrians in 2025.

With 2.29 pedestrian deaths per 100,000 residents and a Walk Score of 26, the city’s car‑first design and low walkability contribute to higher pedestrian risk.
