Men’s Journal recently published it’s official rankings of the “76 Best Places To Drink A Beer In America“, and one Charlotte establishment made the cut.

Their article notes that, “Beer-drinking has long been associated with dive bars and backyards, baseball games and your favorite spot on the couch. But these days, with the explosion of the craft movement, great beer is everywhere.

VBGB Beer Hall was the only place in Charlotte, and one of only a few places in the South East to make the list. The fact that they are solely dedicated to local brews, and that they offer such a wide selection are two of the main reasons they made the list.

“North Carolina brews are this 12,600-square-foot beer mecca’s specialty, with nearly every brewery from Charlotte to Asheville represented on 30 rotating taps. Out back you’ll find cornhole, volleyball, and six-foot-tall Jenga games.”

The greatest gift is that of your friends presence 🎈🍰 #CHARlit #dirty30 #thanksyall

VBGB Beer Hall is located at 920 Hamilton St, in the AvidXchange Music Factory (formerly NC Music Factory).

What other places in Charlotte do you think should have made the list?
