This week, North Carolina Wesleyan University in Rocky Mount unveiled what is being touted as the “World’s Largest” exhibition of paintings by Bob Ross, the iconic American painter, art instructor, and television host.

The exhibit features over 75 artworks by Ross, who gained fame through his PBS show “The Joy of Painting,” which aired from 1983 to 1994 and was broadcast in various countries. Known for his signature permed hair and easy-going instructional style, Ross has continued to captivate audiences posthumously via the internet.

The Bob Ross Art Exhibition is charging $15 for tickets, but children under five can enter for free.

The exhibit will remain open until January 4.
