Former President Donald Trump is making a return to the Charlotte area today for a rally at the Concord Convention Center (5400 John Q. Hammons Dr NW).
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m., with doors opening at 3:30 p.m. Trump will be joined by Eric Trump and Dr. Ben Carson (you can register for tickets here).
This visit follows recent rallies in the region, including a speech at Bojangles Coliseum in July and an appearance at a potable water fixtures facility in Mint Hill last month.
Trump is making several stops in North Carolina this upcoming week, including ones in Asheville, Concord and Greenville on Monday. https://t.co/OCX1ZtIuqk

Trump’s visit comes amid a tight North Carolina race between him and Vice President Kamala Harris. A recent New York Times/Sienna College poll shows Trump leading Harris by a narrow 3-point margin, emphasizing North Carolina’s pivotal role in the upcoming 2024 presidential election. As Election Day approaches, Trump’s focus on the state underscores its importance as a battleground in his bid to retake the White House.
Attendees and local residents should anticipate heavy traffic along I-85 and around northeast Charlotte throughout the afternoon.
