Cary, NC (suburb of Raleigh) came in at the second best spot on GOBankingRates’s new report of the ’50 Safest and Most Affordable US Cities To Live In’.

The study evaluated crime rates, monthly expenditures, and rent costs to determine the rankings. Cary earned its second-place spot nationally due to its low crime rate and reasonable living costs, making it a standout for families, professionals, and retirees.
