A new electric-only car dealership is opening its first Carolina dealership right here in Charlotte.
Sweden-based Polestar has been steadily increasing its footprint across North America, with its new Charlotte location being its 31st dealership globally. The new dealership will be located at 4425 Sharon Rd. in SouthPark.
The 2,400 sqft space will be a tech-forward clean space with only 3 cars on display, including the Polestar 2, Polestar 3 SUV, and Polestar 4 crossover.
Prior to the establishment of the Charlotte Space, Polestar partnered with Charlotte’s University Volvo for its car sales.
North Carolina experienced a notable 50% increase in EV registrations last year, highlighting a pressing demand for more EV retail outlets.
