Concord_Regional_AirportSay goodbye to the old Charlotte Regional Realtor Association building and hello to a gleaming new 8-story mixed use development.

In the place of the decades old building, Pappas Properties just announced plans to build a massive new development, including a 33,000 sq. ft. CRRA building, a 175,000-square-foot retail, hotel and residential building, and a 168,000-square-foot office building.

They revealed the new plan at today’s economic development committee meeting.

The new development would also require new public roads and land swaps to increase in size Pearle Street Park and shift a site owned by the Charlotte Housing Authority.

The developer also wants to include a “greenway-style trail” through Pearle Street Park to connect Little Sugar Greenway to center city.

What do you think of this new development?
