As revelers prepare to ring in 2026, Molson Coors Beverage Company is teaming up with Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) to offer complimentary rides on New Year’s Eve through Molson Coors’ Free Rides program.
From 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31 to 2 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 1, Molson Coors will help Charlotte residents and visitors celebrate responsibly by offering complimentary rides on CATS across the bus, light rail and streetcar.
“Through our continued partnership with Miller Lite, CATS is ensuring everyone can ring in the New Year with complimentary rides on transit,” said Elizabeth Presutti, CATS Chief Administrative Officer. “Whether you’re heading to a celebration uptown or catching a ride home, we’re committed to getting you to and from your destinations with ease.”
Those planning to ring in 2026 with New Year’s Eve festivities are encouraged to plan ahead for a free ride to or from their celebrations. Charlotteans can view routes and map out their free ride on CATS, courtesy of Miller Lite by visiting RideTransit.org.
