FlyExclusive, a premier private jet charter service, just announced plans to build a $30 million new headquarters right here in North Carolina. It will be located in the North Carolina Global TransPark in Kinston, NC, about halfway between Raleigh and the Outer Banks.
The new state-of-the-art facility will span five stories and will house up to five full-motion flight simulators. These additions aim to expedite the company’s pilot training and certification process, addressing the current national delay in pilot training.
The simulators will be spread over three stories, covering 10,000 square feet in five bays. Additionally, the facility will feature 14,000 square feet dedicated to classrooms and training areas, complemented by a rooftop terrace and a 22,000 square-foot air operations center.
“We believe this latest investment will bring hundreds of jobs and millions of dollars to the state and community we love,” said FlyExclusive CEO Jim Segrave in a press release. “We’re proud to call Kinston and North Carolina home, and I’m grateful for our partners in government who share our vision for the future and invest in our success.”
In another significant development, flyExclusive announced the addition of their 100th jet, marking progress in their modernization initiative. This program encompasses an order for up to 44 new Textron Aviation aircraft, which includes up to 30 CJ3+ light aircraft. The investment strategy also covers the acquisition of up to 14 midsize and super-midsize Cessna Citation business jets, split between eight XLS Gen2 and six Longitude aircraft.
