Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris will both be holding rallies in the Charlotte area on Saturday, November 2, intensifying their focus on North Carolina on the final day of early voting in our state.

Trump will speak at Gastonia Municipal Airport at noon, with doors opening at 8 am. Meanwhile, Harris will rally in Charlotte from 5 to 9 pm at a location yet to be announced. Expect heavy traffic delays pretty much everywhere between Charlotte and Gastonia on Saturday.

These events coincide with strong early voter turnout, as the State Board of Elections reports over 3.2 million ballots cast so far in North Carolina (roughly 40% of the entire electorate).

The simultaneous rallies by both candidates underscore North Carolina’s significance in this tightly contested election. With early voting wrapping up, the state’s voters are experiencing a surge in high-profile campaign activity from both sides.
