Concord Mills is about to get a major makeover, they want to make the interior much more inviting, especially now that so many shoppers are going online for most of their purchases.
The outlet mall will begin an interior renovation in May that will wrap up by early 2017, according to a statement Wednesday from Simon Malls, which owns Concord Mills. Improvements will “create a brighter, more inviting atmosphere inside the center,” the company said.
Changes to the mall will include a new dining area with updated seating, tables, flooring, and lighting; four new lounge areas with new seating, updated Wi-Fi network, new paint, more windows, and various other updated interior design elements.
Simon Properties also recently announced a $50 million, 200,000 square foot addition onto their NorthLake Mall property – showing their continued investment and interest in the Charlotte region.
Concord Mills is currently the largest mall in North Carolina, and the most visited tourist attraction in our state.
