Calling All Heroes: Community Heroes Festival Returns April 25

14

The Third Annual Community Heroes Festival will take place on Saturday, April 25 from 12–4 p.m. at Carolina Beer Temple, located at 215 N. Ames Street in Matthews.

The family- and pup-friendly event invites the community to come together for an afternoon of fun while supporting two impactful local nonprofits: Claire’s Army and The Go Jen Go Foundation.

The festival will feature superhero characters, face painting, a bounce house, a live DJ, and hands-on crafts for all ages. Superhero costumes are encouraged. Guests can also browse a variety of local vendors and shops inside and outside throughout the Ames Street Marketplace. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.

“We’re thrilled to host our Third Annual Community Heroes Festival,” said Zach Ligon, president/agent of Community One Insurance. “We created this event as a way to give back and better serve our community—bringing people together for a day of fun while supporting two incredible organizations, Claire’s Army and Go Jen Go.”

There is no cost to attend the event, which is presented by Community One Insurance, Dye Culik and Willexa Energy. Sponsorship opportunities and event details are available at communityheroesfestival.com.
