Blacklane has just announced plans to launch a new City-to-City service with 15 regional routes in Charlotte to key commuter destinations, providing a better transportation experience for business travelers compared to short-haul flights.
The expansion emerges as mass transit systems increasingly struggle with issues such as overcrowded check-ins, long security lines, and cancellations or delays. For business travelers in Charlotte, whose main airport recommends passengers arrive 2.5-3.5 hours early for domestic and international flights due to wait times, Blacklane plans on cutting these times down as a viable flight alternative.
According to Blacklane, travelers can save over 2.5 hours of total travel time between popular commuter cities from Charlotte by choosing their direct City-to-City service when accounting for departure and arrival transfers, airport wait times, and total flight times.
