Around the Crown 10K Together with Truist (ATC10K), Charlotte’s premier 10K road running race and North Carolina’s largest road race, announces its seventh iteration to take place on August 31, 2025. To accommodate growth and offer an enhanced participant experience, the race has partnered with Truist Field, Home of the Charlotte Knights, as the new Race Expo headquarters. The race will also include one additional closed lane on I-277 during race morning, ensuring safety and improved flow for emergency services. The race will continue its commitment to accessibility with its adaptive division and stroller waves, which will be given a five-minute head start.
“Around the Crown 10K, Together with Truist, closes out each summer with a massive community celebration and a beautiful loop around our city,” says race founder Brian Mister. “We’re so proud to be back again this year, working with our amazing partners to be a more inclusive race, inviting more communities into the fold, and creating support systems that help get rid of the many roadblocks that could hinder runners who want to join the fun.”
