APB Charlotte, a skate-focused extension of the APB brand known for its curated streetwear and youth-centered fashion, is launching within The Collective on Tuckaseegee—a landmark project by The Whitaker Group that houses ten distinct retail experiences and the nation’s first Black-owned, privately held, publicly accessible non-DIY skatepark. The store is set to open its doors this upcoming Thursday, November 14th.

To celebrate, the store will release a limited-edition APB capsule collection—its first to combine skate gear with signature streetwear drops. This collection pays tribute to the skate and streetwear cultures that thrive in Charlotte and beyond, featuring T-shirts (S to 2XL) for $50, skateboard decks for $60, and hats for $40. APB Charlotte is dedicated to uplifting the skate community, with in-house skate expertise, custom board services, and exclusive products inspired by Charlotte’s creative energy.

Opening weekend will offer an immersive experience with skate sessions, artist talks, photo walks, and wellness events, setting a new standard for community-centered retail. Adding to the skateboarding experience, APB Charlotte will introduce an on-site purchase & build board service, allowing customers to personalize and assemble their boards in-store.
