A new culinary experience is coming to Charlotte’s historic Fourth Ward as Spaghett, a neighborhood craft pasta and cocktail house, just officially opened its doors.

The restaurant is the latest concept from Irreverently Refined Hospitality, the group behind several acclaimed ventures. Led by James Beard Award finalist Sam Hart, Executive Chef Kendall Moore, and Beverage Director Amanda Britton, Spaghett brings Carolinian cuisine to life through an Italian lens.

Dishes include Bucatini with summer squash and pangrattato, Potato Scarpinocc with corn passata and sorghum glaze, and NC Fish Crudo served with melons and green coriander. Pork with salsa verde and Carolina Gold rice reflects Moore’s dedication to local Southern flavors.

Beverage Director Amanda Britton curated a cocktail list that blends Italian spirits with regional ingredients. Signature drinks include the Big Dom with Southern Star Bourbon and the Annette Funicello made with mezcal and passion fruit. The restaurant’s namesake drink, the Spaghett — a mix of Miller High Life, Aperol, and citrus — anchors the menu.

Located inside the restored 19th-century Young-Morrison House, Spaghett combines historical preservation with contemporary flair. The intimate space features three dining rooms, a six-seat bar, and a soon-to-open outdoor patio.
