#1 Toby Mac
Toby Mac has now sold over 11 million albums and won 11 Grammy awards and he’s about to perform at the Time Warner Cable Arena this Saturday, Feb. 20th.

#2 The Beach Boys
Yes, those Beach Boys are coming to Charlotte! For the first time in decades, all of the band’s surviving members have reunited for one of their biggest tours ever.
This legendary group is not just going to “Do It Again” on the road. Beach Boys Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, and David Marks also recently completed their recording sessions at Los Angeles’ famed Ocean Way Studios for That’s Why God Made The Radio – the legendary band’s 29th studio album.
They will be in Charlotte on Saturday evening (Feb. 20th) at the Ovens Auditorium – click here for more information or tickets.
#3 Science on the Rocks: Fire & Ice
This has to be one of Uptown Charlotte’s most unique events – an ‘adult-only’ night at Discovery Place.
The night will include tons of science demonstrations, including a giant Fire Tornado. There will also be liquid nitrogen ice cream, a dance challenge, spicy food challenge, and a dating game (perfect opportunity to find your true love if your single, or watch other people make fools out of themselves if you’re taken).

#4 Trashy: A Story Slam
Join the Charlotte Storytellers + The Crock for a night of live story telling. Trashy: A Story Slam will take place tomorrow at Atherton Mill and Market, 2104 South Boulevard.
You can get in free if you bring something compostable – leftovers from fruits and vegetables, bread, pasta, egg shells…check out the full list here. If you don’t want to bring waste, then $5 will also get you in.
There will be approximately 10-12 performers to at each slam and randomly select the performers through a lottery system

#5 Charlotte’s 4th Annual Banana Bar Crawl
This the largest annual gathering of people in banana costumes.
If you love dressing up like a banana – this is the event for you!

Bonus: Greg Lilley Live at Birdsong Brewery
