This weekend is going to be truly incredible! There will be tons of food trucks, live music, and the Taste of Charlotte!

#1 Taste of Charlotte

Taste of Charlotte is a 3 day festival featuring over 100 samples from area restaurants along with Live Music and Entertainment, Interactive Children’s Activities, Cooking Demos, Street Performances, Unique Shopping and a large variety of coupons and free stuff!

#2 Warriors Boxing

Warriors Boxing is put on by One Hit Promotions – a boxing promotional company out of Durham, North Carolina. They are registered under the North Carolina Boxing Commission and USA Boxing.  This coming Saturday at the Grady Cole Center they will be bringing some of the best boxing in the state starting at 2pm.

#3 Miranda Lambert, Kip Moore & Brothers Osborne

Miranda Lambert, Kip Moore & Brothers Osborne are all coming to Charlotte this coming Saturday (June 11th) at the PNC Music Pavilion.

#4 Charlotte Knights vs. Norfolk Tides

The Charlotte Knights will be taking on the Norfolk Tides for 4 days this weekend in Uptown’s BB&T ball park. Monday night the games will start at 7:05pm

#6 Get A Tan At Mecklenburg County’s First Beach

Mecklenburg County’s first beach at Lake Norman’s Ramsey Creek Park just opened 2 weeks ago and they’ve been having record crowds ever since. This weekend should be relatively calmer since it’s already been open for over a week and the weather won’t be quite as nice as last weekend.

Make sure to get their early and carpool (The beach fits up to 500 swimmers, but parking is only limited to 127 cars).

#7 The Jazz Workshop

The second Sunday of every month, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. jazz musicians, composers and listeners are invited to Petra’s Second Sunday Jazz Workshop with John Shaughnessy. Bring your instrument and sit in with some of Charlotte’s best jazz musicians, or sing a song with them. If you’re a composer bring your music charts and you can hear them performed.

Thursday night starting at 7:30 Charlotte’s very own professional lacrosse team, the Charlotte Hounds, will be taking on the Ohio Machine in an epic mach at Memorial Stadium.

The Unknown Brewing Company has partnered with Craft Growler Shop to bring live music featuring the Nate Randall Band, 7 food trucks, and Back to The Future on the big screen to SouthEnd this coming Friday night at their main tap room (1327 South Mint St).
