Valentines Day is almost here! I’ve now spent the better part of this week reading online reviews, top 10 lists, social media posts, browsing pictures, and scanning through countless menus.
Based on Yelp, Facebook, Google, and Zaggat reviews, online blog articles, Twitter and Instagram posts, and my own personal visits, here are the top 10 most romantic restaurants in Charlotte:
#10 Melting Pot
This is Charlotte’s cliche romance restaurant, if you order all the courses, you’ll be here for at least a couple hours.
#9 Custom Shop
I’d recommend the BBQ octopus if you’re looking for something amazing and unique.
#8 Alexander Michaels
Great food, not super pricey, and 4th ward is the perfect area to walk around after a romantic dinner dinner.
#7 Carpe Diem Restaurant
Ask for a table in the back corner, you won’t be disappointed.
#6 300 East
During the day they serve some of the best brunch in town, at night they turn into a romantic oasis. This renovated home has a truly unique and warming atmosphere.

#2 Barrington’s
This place consistently ranks among the top restaurants in Charlotte in terms of food taste and presentation. Small, intimate, classic Charlotte.
