#1 Green River Revival

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and kick off the USNWC’s 2017 festival season at the seventh annual Green River Revival. Festivities begin at the Color Me Green 5K Trail Run, where participants will need the luck of the Irish to avoid the green dye as they run through the trails. Live music kicks off at 11:00am on the Belmont Abbey Island stage. Festivities continue at 1:00pm when the river turns as green as a four leaf clover.

#2 Latta Celtic Festival

On March 11th and 12th, the Historic Latta Plantation will host the ultimate celtic festival. Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, you can celebrate all things Celtic by enjoying live music, food and beer vendors, arts and crafts vendors, historic Celtic warriors and heritage demonstrations. Children will enjoy story times, dancing, visiting the farm animals and more.

#3 Repticon Charlotte Reptile & Exotic Animal Show

For over ten years Repticon has been bringing thousands of reptiles and exotic pets from the top breeders and educators throughout the country. Join us this Saturday and Sunday (March 11th-12th) in Concord to learn more about reptiles and amphibians in live animal encounters and to buy reptiles and exotic pets direct from the experts.

#4 The Head and The Heart

The Head and the Heart is an American indie folk band. They were formed in the summer of 2009 by Josiah Johnson and Jonathan Russell, the band also includes Charity Rose Thielen, Chris Zasche, Kenny Hensley, and Tyler Williams.

They’ll be performing live at the Oven’s Auditorium this coming Friday night starting at 8pm.

#5 Face 2 Face: Billy Joel & Elton John Tribute

If you love Billy Joel and Elton John, you’ll love these guys. Face 2 Face is one of the most internationally known tribute bands and have been touring across the country for decades.

#8 St. Paul and The Broken Bones

St. Paul and The Broken Bones is a six-piece soul band based in Birmingham, Alabama, United States that formed in 2012. The band is composed of Paul Janeway, Browan Lollar, Jesse Phillips, Andrew Lee, Al Gamble, and Allen Branstetter.

They’ll be performing live at the Filmore this coming Saturday night starting at 8pm.

Uptown Charlotte’s murder-mystery dinners begin innocently enough—guests arrive to mingle amid drinks and quiet conversation. As diners munch away, a sudden death interrupts the feasting. A detective arrives to determine who the killer is, inevitably laying blame on one of the audience members.
