The Northwest’s Most Popular Burger Joint Is Coming To Charlotte

Portland’s most popular burger joint, and arguably the best in the Northwest, is about to open their first East Coast location right here in the Queen City.

Little Big Burger was founded in 2010 by chefs Micah Camden and Katie Poppe. They wanted to create a unique gourmet cooked-to-order burger and fry joint in a casual atmosphere. The brand has since developed cult-like following in the Pacific Northwest with their unique cheeses, truffle fries, and special sauces;

Charlotte-based Chanticleer Holdings NASDAQ:HOTR (parent company of Just Fresh and American Burger Co.) acquired Little Big Burger back in 2015 with 8 locations around the greater Portland area. Chanticleer has since opened 3 more locations around Portland and is now planning on opening several locations around the Charlotte region.

Charlotte’s first Little Big Burger will be opening later this month in Highland Creek’s Prosperity Village Square.

Mike Pruitt, Chairman and CEO of Chanticleer Holdings, commented, “We are pleased to bring Little Big Burger to North Charlotte. Given our loyal customer base in the Pacific Northwest, we are excited to expand our iconic brand into a new market. Highland Creek is one of Charlotte’s fastest growing areas, and we very much look forward to providing our unique dining experience to the community.”
