One North Carolina man just caught one of the biggest Catfish in history (just 5 pounds less than the all-time record). Riahn Brewington went fishing in a nearby lake the day before Thanksgiving in New Hanover County, NC.
He was using a small fishing pole, with relatively light line when the monster grabbed his hook. He said that his line was completely taken out twice as he fought for over a half hour to reel the giant fish in.
