Emergency crews are still working to remove a large treen that came down directly on a home in Uptown Charlotte yesterday.
The tree fell on a historic home off N. Pine St. near the corner of E. 8th St.
According to CMPD, no one was inside the home when the tree fell into the house;
CMPD officers have N. Pine Street between 8th and 9th blocked due to a tree that fell on a home. Thankfully No injuries. Tree removal crews enroute to clear the tree. pic.twitter.com/zo0ydRrDQ5

It’s unclear exactly how much damage was done or when the street will reopen to traffic.
