Lowes Announced They’re About To Hire 600 New Full-Time Workers In North Carolina

lowes-hiring-new-workers-copyLowe’s corporate just announced that they are planning to hire at least 600 new full-time employees at their support facility about 90 miles northwest of Charlotte in Wilkesboro.

Most of the jobs will be focused on customer care, including scheduling maintenance, installations, and repairs, as well as production coordinators, field project specialists, supervisors and store managers.

Lowe’s wants to expand their do-it-yourself support as well as online buying decisions. In their recent press release, Jennifer Weber noted, “We want to be there every step of the way as customers move this work forward, whether it’s answering questions for (do-it-yourself) customers or coordinating the work for them through installation services.”

This new expansion comes on the heals of Lowe’s recent announcement of hiring over 1,000 new seasonal workers in our state.

The leading home improvement supplier currently employs about 4,000 workers at its corporate offices in Mooresville, and about 2,000 at its support facility in Wilkesboro.
