volunteering-copyThe Nation of Haiti was hit by a catastrophic magnitude 7.0 earthquake in 2010, and a category 4 hurricane just last year – it would be an understatement to say they are in need. While many non-profit organizations send full time employees to the hardest hit areas of the country, one Charlotte dentist is using his vacation time to help those in need.

In 2010, soon after the earthquake, Dr. Saint Jean with Midtown Dentistry joined Bethesda Medical Mission to volunteering one week every year to travel down to Haiti and provide free dental care to children.

He also volunteers in the NC Missions of Mercy free dental clinic that takes place at Charlotte’s Convention Center each year.
