This Summer, former Vice President Joe Biden will be coming to Charlotte as part of a new nationwide tour to promote his new book, Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose.
Biden will be speaking live at the Belk Theater on June 13th at 7pm, where he’ll share excerpts from his book, and talk about the highs and lows of his political career, as well as several personal challenges he’s faced along the way, including the death of his son, Beau, in 2015.
Moderators for the tour include Tom Brokaw, Stephen Colbert, Al Roker and Elaine Welteroth, although they’ve not yet announced who will be moderating the even in Charlotte.
“I’m grateful to have the opportunity to continue this tour and hear from so many more people,” said Biden.
Tickets for the show will go on sale this coming Friday, April 6 at 10 a.m. and will start at $25. There will be VIP upgrades available, including a signed photo opportunity with Biden, as well as a signed copy of his new book.
