Charlotte rescue crews pulled a body out of Lake Wylie yesterday morning.
According to CMPD, at around 2:15 am, 62-year-old Victor Wiggins was reported to be drowning off of Nine Eagles Lane. When police arrived, they were unable to find the body. A search then ensued with the help of the Charlotte Fire Department, The Steele Creek Volunteer Fire Department, and the York County Sheriff’s Office.
At around 11:45am, a crew from the Charlotte Fire Department spotted the body and recovered it from the water. The deceased body was later confirmed to be that of Victor Wiggins;

CMPD does not believe foul play was involved.
