One of Charlotte’s favorite breakfast spots might soon become one of America’s biggest new franchises.
Famous Toastery (formerly known as ‘Toast Cafe’) was just named as one of the top 6 food chains in America in this CNBC article.
The first Toast Cafe was opened back in 2005 in Huntersville. They focused on fresh and local ingredients and quickly became a local hit. A couple years ago, the founders decided to start franchising their newly renamed “Famous Toastery”. The first fully franchised restaurant opened in Tega Cay, SC in 2014.
They now have 15 restaurants throughout the Charlotte region, and they’re hoping to grow that number to 35 by the end of 2016 (Grow Smart, Risk Less is a great resource for anyone wanting to emulate their growth).
CNBC reported that the quickly growing chain is now providing “welcome news for potential franchisees wanting to cash in on the next big restaurant hit.”
