charlotte's new entertainment districtThe new owners of 300 N. College St. have an epic new vision for one of Charlotte’s oldest nightlife locations. The massive 1900s warehouse building used to be home to Cosmos, RePublic and Phoenix (all of which closed over the past 2 months).

The new development company, 300 North College LLC, say their goal is to create a hub for bar and restaurant tenants to rival the best the Epicenter has to offer.

The only remaining tenant — BAR Charlotte — is planning renovations that will line up with the developer’s vision for the building.

The new concept is being overseen by Bar Management Group – the company behind Vida, Suite, Bubble, Blackfinn and Whiskey River.
