The location also will be home to 2 in-store restaurants; Kei Jei Kitchen, and the Queen’s Pearl.
Kei Jei is a Korean/Japanese fusion eatery that will specialize in ramen, gyoza and bubble tea. The Queen’s Pearl will primarily sell seafood dishes, including locally-sourced oysters, fish tacos, and lobster rolls.
The new store will also be hosting a Bluegrass and BBQ charity event this coming Saturday (May 20th) from 4pm-7pm, with proceeds going to the Sustain Charlotte non-profit.
This will be the 3rd Whole Foods in the Charlotte region, in addition to the one in South Park and Huntersville – a 4th location is also being constructed in Uptown.
