Charlotte’s 3rd Whole Foods Confirms New Grand Opening Date

Whole Food’s just confirmed their grand opening for their 3rd Charlotte area location.

They’ll be hosting a bread-breaking ceremony at the new Waverly location off Providence Rd. on Tuesday, May 23rd at 8:45am:

The location also will be home to 2 in-store restaurants; Kei Jei Kitchen, and the Queen’s Pearl.

Kei Jei is a Korean/Japanese fusion eatery that will specialize in ramen, gyoza and bubble tea. The Queen’s Pearl will primarily sell seafood dishes, including locally-sourced oysters, fish tacos, and lobster rolls.

whole-foods-charlotteThe new store will also be hosting a Bluegrass and BBQ charity event this coming Saturday (May 20th) from 4pm-7pm, with proceeds going to the Sustain Charlotte non-profit.

This will be the 3rd Whole Foods in the Charlotte region, in addition to the one in South Park and Huntersville – a 4th location is also being constructed in Uptown.
