#1 Festival in The Park

This weekend is the 53rd annual Festival in the Park in Dilworth’s Freedom Park!

Festival in the Park is a THREE-DAY outdoor arts and crafts festival that features 180 artists and craft exhibitors and nearly 1,000 entertainers! There will also be concessions such as popcorn, ice cream, and cotton candy, and we’ll have plenty of activities for children of all ages.

#2 Charlotte Symphony Orchestra: Beethoven Symphony No. 9

Friday and Saturday night at the Belk Theater you’ll be able to experience Beethoven’s masterful final symphony, widely celebrated as one of the most significant works of all time. #3 Whitewater Film Series

Lights. Camera. Adventure. The U.S. National Whitewater Center is proud to present the Whitewater Film Series again in 2017. Featuring a variety of outdoor industry features from across the globe, viewers will have a chance to experience the active, outdoor lifestyle in a whole new way.

This Friday night they’ll be showing ‘Mountainfilm’ starting at 7:20pm (or as soon as sunset happens).

#8 Sugar Creek Fall Fest 2017

Fall is finally here, and we’re celebrating with an all-day party at Sugar Creek Brewing’s Fall Fest 2017! This event itself is FREE and will offer fun for the whole family (dogs included).
